Pearl Adubea Adjei
Pearl Adubea Adjei, is a fashion designer who specializes in women’s wear and textiles. She has an in-depth knowledge in producing sketches, designs and samples for presentation to customers, making up set of sample designs, accurately interpreting and representing customer ideas and assessing and giving approval for completed items based on production standards. She also has experience in keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using Internet source.
Whiles working with Awo’s fashion center Pearl researched and looked for ideas and inspiration for designing textiles, She source for fabrics and other materials for production, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and textile technology, developing new design concepts and ensuring that projects are completed on time. She has gained enormous experience working with Pistis Ghana, a renowned fashion house, which deals in luxurious women’s wear and the exploration of fabrics and also GTP. At Pistis and GTP, Pearl worked as the quality control manager, pattern maker and a beader (embellishments of garments) for a period of two years.
She has successfully lunched the Pearladj brand that produces clothing for both corporate and individual clients. Pearl holds a Bachelor degree in fashion design from Radford University College and a Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) certificate from Mawuli Senior High School.
She is an artistic person and problem solver, enjoys taking up challenges and achieving set goals, a team player, who works well with others and always eager to expand her skills and knowledge.
