Brief Description and expected Outcome

Beading is a course that equips students with the skill of making fashion accessories with beads. Students will learn how to make not just jewelry, but other artifacts with as well. By learning the uses of the tools and materials involved, students will be guided through the processes of drawing inspiration and executing ideas through creativity.

The course has been designed to help students identify the different kinds of beads there are on the market, as well as the tools am materials needed. This course will solely entail practical demonstrations in order to help student learn the skills properly.

Students will work on personal projects and will have constant help to help them understand and acquire more skills.

By the end of this course, the students should be able to, identify the tools and material used in bead making, use the identified tools and materials appropriately, choose the right materials for the right projects, design and fabricate fashion accessories with beads, design and make other artifacts with beads and execute designs that include other materials like metallic pendants.
