Obeng-Yobo Rhoda

Obeng-Yobo Rhoda Akua Kyeiwaa, is a fashion designer who specializes in fashion accessory designs and has over 8 years experience. She has the expertise to conceptualize and create designs for jewelry, handbags, shoes, ties, belts, hats, gloves, etc. to go with clothing.

She has successfully manufactured different accessories using beads, stones, metals etc and marketed it to a wide range of customers including corporate and individual clients.

She creates sketches for designs by beginning with hand sketches and also utilizes computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Whiles work at Aya Morrison, a renowned Ghanaian fashion house she gain enormous experience in designing and manufacturing of accessories. Rhoda is creative, has the technical skill in working with materials required for the chosen specialty (such as metal and semi-precious stones for jewelry designes, etc); persistence and ability to work independently, drawing and sketching skills; she has knowledge of and ability to react to current fashion trends; knowledge of manufacturing and production process. She has the ability to create pieces that complement the new hot styles in the market.

Rhoda holds a Bachelor degree in fashion design from Radford University College, has also undertaken a three months study in beading at Occasion school of arts and an SSCE from Achimota Senior High School.

She is a dynamic and a result oriented person who has excellent people skills and enjoys taking up challenges and achieving set goals. A team player, who works well with others and always eager to expand her skills.
